Agape International Academy originated 10 years ago in the Kibera slum of Kenya by a group of young individuals native to the community. The program was initially focused on combating HIV among the youth through community events. The project then evolved into engaging youngsters in various empowering activities and nurturing talents, which has produced notable artists. With a growth in membership to 50 youths, the group added an educational component, resulting in the establishment of the Agape Community School.
